With passion and dedication to the art of hairstyling, Hayk began his career in 2007, completing his studies in hairdressing. Since then, he has gained significant experience, working in renowned salons in Nicosia for over 14 years.

Continuous education is a way of life and an integral part of Hayk’s career. Every year, he enhances his knowledge and skills by attending seminars led by top French trainers, specializing in the latest cutting and balayage techniques. Additionally, he has participated in advanced training programs by leading companies such as L’Oréal and Keune, ensuring that his services remain modern and of the highest standard.

Why do you do hairdressing?

"I started hairstyling because I love communication with people. It brings me joy to make my clients feel beautiful and happy. I believe our profession is very important because everyone deserves to feel unique and confident, both inside and out".

Why do you work at MOJO?

"From the very first moment, I felt appreciation and love from the team. It’s an environment that motivates me and helps me grow even further. I’m truly happy to be part of this team".

What is your style of hairdressing?

"I love the natural look and anything that highlights natural beauty. I don’t favor any particular style because each one is unique and has its own charm. What matters most to me is creating something that suits each client individually".

Founder/ Stylist

Andy started hairdressing in 1996 at 16 years old where he worked as a junior at a small salon in down-town Nicosia, Cyprus while also attending a hairdressing academy.

His passion led him in 2000 to New York city at a hairdressing academy where he was given an amazing opportunity to work at Takamichi Hair N.Y.C. in 2001.

Working in New York was one of the most enlightening experiences as a hairdresser for Andy, he had the amazing opportunity to develop his creative identity in a wonderfully diverse environment. This experience allowed him the opportunity to work with amazingly talented hairdressers and stylists as well participate in the NEW YORK FASHION WEEK while he lived there.

In 2004 Andy returned to Nicosia where he worked at a well known salon while he began to actualize his dream of having his own salon - MOJO HAIR STUDIO.

In 2006, MOJO was created. The vision was born out of a need in the market for something different, new, fresh, and exciting.

Tell us more about MOJO.

We created a salon where all creative elements are taken into account from ambiance of the salon, to comfort, care, and service offered, as well as the continued education for all on our team in order to allow us to deliver an amazing overall experience and result to our clients as well as our team.

MOJO HAIR STUDIO has been in existence for 13 years now (at the time of publication 2019), and in the last couple of years we have collaborated closely with SLATE for team training. We have worked with founder Michael who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
